The Best HIGH END Foundations For OILY SKIN | Sharon Farrell

Healthy Skin Tip: To best handle acne, the first step is understanding. There are several different types that can be caused by hormones, genetics, or brought on by stress and/or infection. While over-the-counter topical treatments are accessible to most and may work for some acne sufferers, it's still important to address the cause as well. Seeing a dermatologist can be very helpful.
The best high-end foundations for OILY SKIN (in my humble opinion). These are the top foundations I’ve tried that last well and look great on my extremely oily skin.

I also really like the Armani Power Fabric but haven’t been using it long enough to include it in this list, watch my review here:

  1. That was very helpful indeed. I have been tempted by the Marc Jacobs one for ages, but I guess it is not the right one for me.

  2. You need to try the Bobbi Brown Skin Serum Foundation – even though advertised as a foundation for super dry skin it actually works incredibly well with my oily skin (and also my husbands who has even oilier skin)

  3. Sharon, I wanted to try the double wear light but they dont have it in my shade. : (

  4. So weird that you don’t like the urban decay all nighter! I have very oily skin, and it’s the only foundation that I’ve ever repurchased. I find it does need to be set but it lasts really well for me and looks really good on my skin. The transferring doesn’t happen for me once I powder 🤷🏻‍♀️

  5. Hey sharon 🙂 great video! im like you, I like my make-up to stick around on my slightly oily skin but i hate the look of “makeup-y make-up”, youll know what i mean hahah. so I really enjoyed your video. could you give any suggestions on brands that cater for yellow toned girls? I basically cannot use anything from MAC or any drugstore brands and I struggle with a few high ends too. Ive been wondering about The Ordinary’s new foundation lines that Wayne Goss speaks highly of. They seem to have a great shade range and get a good rap.
Any chance of you reviewing them?? xxx

  6. I’m so happy I didn’t buy that marc jacobs foundation! I almost bought it because of your first review!!
    thank you for this video!!

  7. Hey Sharon, could you try out some of the Chanel foundations? And whether they would be good for combination skin?

  8. I bought the Marc Jacobs foundation and at first I loved it. The colour, the way it went on….used less of it if I didn’t want the coverage. But…now I don’t wear it. On me it settled into my lines (and I don’t really have any) and pores BIG TIME, and I’d look waaaay dryer and cakier (I’m an oily skin AND I exfoliate daily), so it now sits there collecting dust. 🙁

  9. Can you do a review on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick foundation? — loved the video btw –

  10. My Marc Jacobs ReMarcable did the exact same thing with the silicon suspension leaking out! And it leaked so much that it completely changed the formula and made it a cakey mess on me. I initially loved it but it totally sucked once the leak happened,

  11. I think that you missed the most important of all High End foundation for oily skin , which is THE BEST: Perfection lumière VELVET from CHANEL . I really do think that if you try it, it will easily become your favorite of all time 😉 I’m 50 years old and it’s my holy grail for my oily skin since years already . Definitely give this a try !!!!! 😉

  12. Hi Sharon, I am new to your channel and love your videos! It would be so good to see you do a tutorial for working moms that need to look office appropriate/polished/long lasting but in super quick time. I’m binge watching you today! 🙂

  13. Oh my god I’m so with you on the All Nighter foundation…I thought it was just me!! The worst foundation I have ever tried! So disappointing 🙁 I’m off to try the Shiseido and Lancome ones now 😀 ….

  14. Sharon please make some review about katvond lock it foundation. Thank you, you’re awesome! 🙂

  15. As soon as you said you didn’t like the UD foundation, I hit subscribe. gurl, yes! I absolutely hated that foundation. we have very similar taste/skin.
