The Best DRUGSTORE Foundations For OILY SKIN | Sharon Farrell

Healthy Skin Tip: Lavender essential oil is a powerful tool in the fight against acne. It can be applied neat to the skin, meaning it does not have to be diluted with a carrier oil, although you can mix it with an oil like coconut, jojoba, or olive. Lavender is a very strong anti-bacterial and it helps to relieve pain. It also speeds up the healing process.
These are my top affordable foundations from the drugstore that work GREAT on oily skin. They all have a different texture and coverages so hopefully, there’s something here that will work for you!

  1. Thanks for your recommendations for new foundations to try! Top of my list is The Ordinary one, keeping my eyes and ears open for a re-stock of that. Oh and if you liked the video perhaps you would like to subscribe **wink wink, nudge nudge** http://shazmakeup.com/free-puppies

  2. Sharon! 123 perfect by bourjois… its amazing for oily skin and it has a very similar finish than the healthy mix. 😗

  3. Hi Sharon! A recent subscriber here… absolutely love your videos! I’m quite pale and my skin is oily and breakout prone 😑
If you can get your hands on it try the Boots No7 Beautifully Matte. It’s my all time favourite. I use shade Calico which is one of the lightest if not the most lightest of their shades. Love it and would love to see you trying it
    Love from UK ❤

  4. I love healthy mix as well but honestly it makes me so oily at the end of the day, even with a primer and i can’t figure out why? :/ i wonder how you keep on your skin Sharon considering the fact that i think you have a much more oilier skin than me…
    love ya XX

  5. You couldn’t be boring even if you talked about foundation for another half an hour. 😌

  6. If you can find glo Minerals foundation, give it a try! It’s my favorite for my oily skin. It feels clean on your skin and won’t break you out. I use the sheer tint and set it lightly with the pressed base. They also have a matte liquid. One tip I learned as a makeup artist is to stay away from powers that contain corn starch. Corn starch will turn sugary and cause breakouts.

  7. so I have combo oily skin and I tried the L’Oréal infallible 24hr matte foundation because so many oily YouTubers really liked it and OMG it looked soooo bad on me. it kind of just literally say on top of my skin and looked super cakey even when I applied it with a beauty blender. I wore it for a whole day and usually with oily skin foundations tend to break down and kind of meld into your skin but this one did not do that, just kind of sat on top of my skin the whole day it was the weirdest thing. I really want to try the healthy mix foundation but I think I’m a little too yellow and they tend to veer on the pink side.

  8. I LOVE the bonjour healthy mix, I have oily skin as well and absolutely love it!

  9. I feel like most drugstore foundations for fair skin pull orange or peach and I am a very fair yellow/olive base skin. I never can find a good match 🙁
