  1. Getting to 30 was really difficult for me, 35 no problem, 40 a new beginning, approaching 45, who cares! It’s all in your head, if you take really good care of your skin! By the way, I would suggest you put the vibrating eye roller in the fridge, you will love the extra cooling effect!

  2. When you said you didn’t have any makeup on I was like WHAT!? You look absolutely stunning. Such a natural beauty. Thanks for the video, helpful 🙂

  3. hey alexa when you say the clairsonic feels nice do you mean its a clean feel or an exfoliant feeling and also why do you think the clairsonic gave you the acne?

  4. Not sure, it depends where you are from. I have seen it seasonally at Jean Coutu or Pharmaprix (Shopper’s Drugmart in Montreal). It’s not always available, but it’s very convenient.

  5. I totally agree with you. I’m surrounded by younger people in University and when I tell them I’m 5 years older than them, sometimes they don’t believe me. It’s on my mind, but it never crosses theirs. Thanks for the tip by the way 🙂

  6. Nice video Alexa! I like you because you’re honest about the products you use and also very informative and on point! (:

  7. Great video, thanks:) I made a great combination of all my essential oils for skin and hair, and have great results!Jojoba, olive, and coconut oil, shea butter, black soap and some supplements! And i get everything very cheap on iherb.com-distributor of oils, soaps, coametics, supplements and many more. Also you can save $10 when you type coupon code ZQL811 in the checkout. Also you can choose 1 product free with every purchase you make. Its worldwide shipping!Check it out!You can save lots of money!:)

  8. I had a prescription to Retinol in the past, it works to treat breakouts. It wasn’t a miracle thing, by any means, but it definitely works.

  9. It gives the skin a slight physical exfoliation. I can’t exactly say why it broke me out. I had a different routine. It might have been because when you use the clarisonic, you can’t use a chemical exfoliator or cleanser with active acne fighting ingredients simultaneously. It would be too harsh. Maybe my routine was missing the acne fighting ingredients.. who knows. The break out I got was nothing like I ever experienced before – huge painful bumps under* my skin & around my jaw line.

  10. I bought Michael Todd True Organics in the Oily/Acne/Sensitive Regimen & I Really do Love the Products, but with My order I received a small sample Pumpkin Mask, as you mentioned here that it is great for breakouts, I only used it one time because the first 5mins of wearing the mask made my face like it was on fire & instead of helping me with my breakouts, I actually broke out more into cystic-like acne bumps so I discontinued the use of the mask. Do you think what I went through is normal?

  11. I aslo have a Clarisonic & I had a similar exprience like you as far as breakouts go, but it was because I was using it twice a day & I used the Sensitive Brush Head which isn’t sensitive at all, so now I changed to the Acne Brush head & I limit myself to using the Clarisonic 3 times a week & only at night time or if I’m wearing makeup that day. I’ve also tried the deep pore brush head which is too abrasive for me too, but maybe you should give the Acne brush head a try because it’s more gentle

  12. I have been loving the MT products. Particularly the charcoal cleanser, the lemon toner and the Antiox serum. The moisturizers I have tried are not my fav. A lot of people rave about the algae toner and I have tried that but much prefer the lemon.I adore all the masks (I have a lot of samples from the discovery kits) and for some reason none of them burn my skin. Have heard a lot of people say that they do but my acne prone skin doesn’t feel like it’s burning with any of them.Just my experience.

  13. Hey! I have yet to try the MT moisturizers, but I have just received the Algae toner so I’m curious to see if I have the same preference as you. Did the other masks have glycolic acid in them? Maybe the burning sensation depends on the mask…

  14. I think our Clarisonic experience is fairly common, unfortunately. I use the sensitive one. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the acne one, but I’ve been curious about it. Thanks for the input 🙂

  15. I was on Accutane 10 years ago and I went on and off smaller doses of it in my late teens. It can have a lot of weird and unpleasant consequences, so I wish you the best of luck. It changed my skin and kept me clear for a few years, but my break outs returned in a more mild manner. Having clearer skin is such an amazing feeling, though.

  16. The rose petal mask, while a vitamin c mask, also has 10% glycolic acid. The pearls and silk mask does not seem to have it from what I can read. I have always thought that I have sensitive skin but I am thinking now that I am just very acne-prone but not sensitive…I have not experienced any burning sensation with any of the masks. Maybe my skin just likes the stronger products….sigh…who knows…it’s all trial and error….

  17. i confuse, some people say toner before mask, and another say mask before toner, which one is true?
