QUICK TIP | Lightweight Foundation For Summer And Oily Skin (NO To Tinted Moisturizers!)

Healthy Skin Tip: Drink lots of water. Drinking water keeps the skin hydrated and helps flush toxins from your body. Your skin will readily expunge irritants, which in turn helps prevent excess oil production. Staying hydrated is also vital to other aspects of your health, and a healthy immune system will reward you with glowing skin.

  1. Hahahahaa! Cawz it’s a “Quick Tip”. LOL! Not much to say this time around 😉

  2. I didn’t say they were marketed as foundations at all. What I said was I don’t think we should be paying the same price as a foundation for a thinned out product. I am not downgrading tinted moisturizers – they r what they r. But they r not worth the hype or price in my eyes considering that they r a watered down product used to satiate a consumer’s want for lightweight coverage. That is what I was trying to say. Some ppl love them…but they r not great or worth it for a lot of us out there.

  3. I really appreciate this tip. I use the photo finish primer from Smashbox and Chanel’s Perfection Lumiere foundation and it works great! The temperature in Atlanta is about 104 right now and my makeup hasn’t moved at all!

  4. Oh yes agreed its just the mixing and extra steps seem too laborious. If I do reach for something Id go for super matte anti shine, offers a nice transparency coverage. Me, I just get freaked out knowing sweat an stuff on my face is mixing :0(

  5. Im a beginner with makeup so I have a question. Do you still put a moisturizer on your face before the primer foundation combo?

  6. Yes u would moisturize first and let it sink into your skin for a few minutes. Perhaps use an oil control moisturizer if u have oily skin.

  7. I’m oily too. I cannot find a primer that does not break me out – – like cystic breakouts!!! Help me please!

  8. actlly u shud chose a shade jus ligter than wat yor wearing cos it looks oxized..yor body seems lighter…:)n wat foundation n shade r u using???

  9. Actually you may need to get your eyes checked or get a better computer/phone/tablet….

  10. this is exactly what ive been searching for, thanks so much! i have very oily skin but i hate feeling like i have to wear such heavy coverage just so my foundation doesnt slide off especially in the summer heat. also, what is your favorite concealer for oily skin?

  11. OMG thank you because I been trying to figure that out because I have oily skin.

  12. monistat anti chaffing…weird but works as a primer and does not break me out been using for 2yrs now…every other primer irritated my face…search for vids on here about using it as a primer
