Perfect Complexion For Oily Skin: Romy’s Tips

Healthy Skin Tip: Do not use straws in your drinks. Straws seem to make some drinks more fun and taste better, but using straws habitually makes you overuse certain muscles in your face that tend to crease you skin repeatedly in the same places. This is exactly how wrinkles are formed.

Beauty.com exclusive series on foundation.

Sarah Sophie Flicker sits down with Makeup Artist and our Director-at-Large Romy Soleimani to discuss specific tips on selection and application of complexion correctors and foundations for different skin types, colors, tones and concerns.

Xin’s Concern:
Getting the perfect matte, yet glowy complexion — all while having oily skin.

Romy’s Solution:
Starts at the center at the face with Paula Dorf Oil-Free Moisture Foundation and work your way out. For more coverage around the eye, use Prescriptives concealer with SPF 35. Then top off the t-zone with Prescriptives Magic Liquid Powder to get rid of additional shine. Last but not least, use IT Cosmetics Hello Light Illuminator to highlight glow in the inner and outer corner of the eyes.

  1. I have trouble taking beauty advice from these two women. Their makeup really needs work, the colors are all wrong. Their hair styles and clothing need some updating also. Beauty advice is usually only taken from women that know beauty. Sorry, just trying to help.
