Want to know how to control shiny skin and have your foundation stay on all day long? This product review and tutorial on Ben Nye’s Translucent Face Powder contains my personal tips and tricks for really oily skin, perspiration, shine and long wear. At it’s drugstore cost, this setting powder is one of the best products to help extremely oily skin keep makeup on all day. Prime, set, fix and forget about it!

This product comes in a great shade range that is an alternative to bobby brown because of its very yellow tones for that trademark brightening effect. Im using Topaz but there is also Banana powder, Siena, Coco Tan, Ebony, etc. 1.75 grams of Product for only !

  4. Hi. Thank you for your video. What color would you suggest for someone who wears NC45 in MAC? Thank you again.

  5. Thanks for giving the specifics about what this stuff does. So many gurus use it but no one has ever said why….or even what they like about it. I’ve thought about buying it in the past but didn’t. Your explanation just convinced me. I don’t wear foundation so I could never justify the purchase. Knowing it helps with oil control was key! Thanks…new subbie!! P.s….good lawd man u r a handsome broth a 😉

  6. Thanks for the video! I am so tired of applying makeup and then half an hour later my face is a hot oily mess. I mean I already have oily skin but the stuff I use makes it EXTREMELY OILY.

  7. Do you suggest using a velour puff to set any powder or just the Ben Nye? I loved the video btw! (I think I spelled it right)

  8. Hi Chris, just wondering how spritzing your face with a water based product affects the(Ben Nye) powder you used. When I get baby powder wet it gets creamy..lol JK
