Healthy Skin Tip: If your skin is prone to acne breakouts and clogged pores, check your skin care products for oily ingredients. Unless your skin is extremely dry, you should be using an oil-free cleanser and toner, and a light moisturizer on your face. Most people do not need the heavy moisturizing effect of oily products.

Milk of Magnesia (aka Magnesium Hydroxide) is commonly found in the laxative and antacid aisle of your local pharmacy. It’s also a great topical treatment for the skin!
MoM can be applied daily as a “tonic drying to powder” to absorb oil and cut sweat and shine on your skin, leaving you with a matte finish. This can also act as a primer for your makeup so your eyeshadows, blushes etc can stay smooth on your face and not clump or bleed from facial oils.
