  1. I have tried tomatoes. Tomatoes “treat” oily skin. Tomatoes DO NOT “cure” oily skin. Oily skin is a skin type and you cannot change your skin type, but as Mindy mentioned, you can use tomatoes and other methods to help BALANCE the skin. My contention with ehow is that most of their video titles are INTENTIONALLY misleading to get the attention of the YouTube audience. In my opinion, that’s false advertisement.
