Foundations For Combination To Oily Skin (plus Very Oily & Blemished)

Healthy Skin Tip: The way your skin looks is based on your diet. Your body needs a balanced diet with minimal junk food to successfully fight off infections, including those causing acne. You should eat lean meats and limit your sugar intake, and don't forget to eat plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. A healthy diet affects the overall health of your body, making it easier to ward off infections.

There are obviously more around but these are the ones I have found to have the best finish, lasting power and oil absorbency etc. Hope its helpful. I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

  1. Revlon colorstay is great for oily skin, I alsow love the Loreal pro-mat, revlon colorstay does contain salycilic acid so It’s great for blemished skin 😍

  2. It was weird hearing an English person say the word “bits” so many times in an innocent vid lol

  3. I had watched this video back then but I went back to it again as a refresher. Any new foundations (or primer/foundation combo) since 2013 that you would recommend for very oily skin? I totally agree with the last part 🙂 🙂 kisses from Dubai xxoo

  4. Lisa,Will you do a turorial for your makeup look that you are wearing in this oily skin foundation tutorial? I really like your eye makeup 🙂

  5. Question: if you have an oily Tzone and dry cheeks, you suggest to mix foundations. In that case, could you use the same brush or beauty blender or do you really need to “separate” clinically the products? 😉

  6. I have a question does anyone know a good drugstore foundation that is light/pale but has a yellow or golden undertone. I’m half Asian so I naturally have a lot of warmth to my skin but being pale or light most foundations have a pink undertone. I really need one that will stay on my skin for I am combination and acne prone. I have found some yellow toned foundations at the drug store but they oxidize like crazy. Please if someone could help I would be very grateful. Thank you.

  7. I am in the grey area of oily, acne-prone, yet maturing (early forties but look much younger). I am forever in search of foundations and skincare recommendations. Love this series.

  8. just wanted to let you know that I bought the Estee Lauder foundation and I love it . works perfectly for me . Thank you .
